1. How do I place an Ad for my RV or RV Accessories? Click on Plus icon to know the answer
We require all new sellers to register first before they are able to place an Ad on www.ozrvsales.com.au. Membership is free and only takes a moment to complete through this page: Sell Your RV or Accessories
There are a number of reasons we need you to register which include;
- To contact you if there are any problems with your Ad.
- So you can receive email enquiries and phone calls from potential buyers.
- So you can subscribe to custom email alerts created by you (if you are in the market to buy soon)
Registration is necessary to allow buyers to contact you by phone or email. Reset assured that your personal details and email address will be kept strictly confidential.
2. How much does it cost to place an Ad? Click on Plus icon to know the answer
RV Accessory Ads:
The cost to place basic RV accessory Ads are just $5 and premium RV accessory Ads are only $10.
Basic RV accessory Ads allow you to include up to 5 photos of your item, while RV premium accessory Ads allow up to 20 photos of your item.
RV Category Ads:
If you're selling your caravan, motorhome, 5th wheeler, camper or RV, the cost to place basic category Ads are just $50 and premium category Ads are $90.
Basic category Ads allow you to include up to 10 photos of your RV, while premium category Ads allow up to 20 photos of your RV. Generally, premium Ads will get you a faster sale due to the added exposure and a priority ranking.

3. How do I pay for my Ad? Click on Plus icon to know the answer
We have 3 payment options for you to choose from including; Credit Card, Money Order or Cheque, and Direct Bank Deposit (internet banking transfer).
All credit card payments are processed via a secure 128 bit encryption system through PayPal.com. If you select the credit card option, you will be automatically re-directed to PayPal.com.au to complete your payment. We have found this to be the most popular payment method.
If you select the money order or cheque option, you will be provided with the details of where to send your payment to. Note: We do our best to offer you the highest level of service at all times. We will approve your ad prior to receiving your payment by mail so you can start receiving enquiries immediately. We do however request that your payment is posted as soon as possible to ensure that your ad will remain active on our website. Your ad will be removed from our website if payment is not received within 7 days of ad placement unless prior arrangements have been made between the advertiser and our staff.
Last but not least, if you prefer to make your payment using your internet banking system, you will be provided with our bank details of which you can make payment to. Please ensure that you include your AD ID in the reference when making the transaction for our records. Don't have internet banking? That's fine... simply drop down to your nearest Westpac branch and you can make your payment over the teller.
4. How long does my Ad stay listed on your website for? Click on Plus icon to know the answer
Your advertisement will stay listed on our website until you have sold. Once you have sold your RV or item, it is asked that you login to the member’s area and mark your Ad as "Sold". This will also ensure that you don't receive any further enquires through our website after you have sold.
Important:You will receive a "Still for Sale?" email every 60 days. This email is a reminder to you that if you have sold your item, you need to log into your members account and remove your Ad from the website. From the date you receive the "Still for Sale?" email, you will then have a further 14 days to login to your account and extend your listing for a further 60 days. If you do not login within the 14 days your Ad will become "in-active" and will be removed from our live search results until such time as you extend your Ad. When you receive the "Still for Sale?" email from us, you must follow the simple instructions otherwise you run the risk of your Ad becoming in-active.
Extending your Ad doesn't cost any more and your Ad will remain on our website until you have sold. We have designed our website to ensure only current Ads for sale appear in the search results. By doing this, we can provide a better service to potential buyers browsing our listings.
5. Why cant' I see my images when I upload? Click on Plus icon to know the answer
This could be due to a number of reasons, the most common being that your images are NOT the correct file type.
TIP: Try saving your images with extensions .jpg or .gif. These two file types have the most efficient file compression ratio and are guaranteed to work with our upload method.
6. How long does it take for my Ad to be approved? Click on Plus icon to know the answer
Your Ad will be approved within 24 hours of receiving payment. In most cases Ads are approved within 2 hours (within normal business hours).
7. What is the maximum file size my image can be? Click on Plus icon to know the answer
To allow faster uploading of your images, we recommend that your images are no larger than 4000KB (4MB) in file size. Our system will automatically resize your images for optimum viewing over the internet so don't be too worried if you do not know how to reduce your image file size. Just keep in mind the photo upload process will take a minute or two longer.
TIP: To check the size of your image, simply do the following;
- Go to the folder where the image is stored
- Right click your mouse on the image you wish to upload
- Left click the mouse on the “Properties”
- View the "Size". From this view you can also see image name and file type.
There are a number of good free online image resizing websites that will allow you to reduce the size of your images and make other minor enhancements. GOOGLE "free online image resizer".
8. I can't find my Ad. What's happened? Click on Plus icon to know the answer
Your Ad is still being processed
If you recently posted or edited your Ad it can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours for an Ad to go through the system and appear online. Please note, if you have placed an Ad outside of business hours it may not be processed until normal business hours.
Your Ad has expired
If you posted your ad some time ago, your Ad may have expired. You should login to your member’s account and check the status of your Ad. You will receive a "Still for Sale?" email every 60 days so please follow the instructions in the email to keep your Ad active.
If you can't find your Ad on the site then first try the following:
- Go to the Ozrvsales homepage
- Enter your 5-digit AD ID into the search box. Your AD ID can be found in the confirmation email sent to you when you posted your Ad.
- Click search
- If this search doesn't locate your Ad, and instead you see a list of zero (0) search results then your Ad is not currently live on the site
