How much does it cost to place an ad?
The cost to place a basic ad is $30.00. This allows you to include up to 9 photos and unlimited word count. There are no hidden costs and no commissions payable on sale.
The cost to place a premium ad is $55.00. Premium ads offer a more stand out listing designed to attract the interest of buyers a little more than your traditional basic ad. Features include; up to 15 photos of your RV, unlimited ad description, a slide show to showcase your photos, 3 smaller images in the summary view (search results page) with a border and 100 characters of additional stand-out text to encourage a higher click through rate (CTR).
How do I make payment for my ad?
We have 3 payment options for you to choose from including; Credit Card, Money Order or Cheque, and Direct Bank Deposit (internet banking transfer).
All credit card payments are processed via a secure 128 bit encryption system through PayPal.com. If you select the credit card option, you will be automatically re-directed to PayPal.com to complete your payment. We have found this to be the most popular payment method.
If you select the money order or cheque option, you will be provided with the details of where to send your payment to. Note: We do our best to offer you the highest level of service at all times. We will approve your ad prior to recieving your payment by mail so you can start recieving enquiries immediately. We do however request that your payment is posted as soon as possible to ensure that your ad will remain active on our website. Your ad will be removed from our website if payment is not recieved within 7 days of ad placement unless prior arrangements have been made between the advertiser and our staff.
Last but not least, if you prefer to make your payment using your internet banking system, you will be provided with our bank details of which you can make payment to. Please ensure that you include your AD ID in the reference when making the transaction for our records. Don't have internet banking? That's fine... simply drop down to your nearest NAB (National Australia Bank) branch and you can make your payment over the teller.
How long does my advertisement stay listed
for?
Your advertisement will stay listed on our website until sold. Once you have sold your RV, it is asked that you login to the members area and delete your ad. This will also ensure you do not receive further enquires after you have sold.
Why do I need to sign up as a member to place
an advertisement?
So we can identify and verify who you are. This helps us provide a better quality service to meet
your needs. In addition, this also helps us identify scammers if they should try and place an ad on our website. We take the highest precautions to ensure your membership details are not compromised.
How many photos can my advertisement have?
You can include up to 9 photos for a basic advertisement and up to 15 photos for a premium advertisement.
What is the maximum file size my image can be?
To conserve space, we suggest that images do not need to be greater than
700 KB in size. This will allow a faster upload speed when you are uploading your photos to your ad, especially if you are using a dial-up or slow internet connection. Our system will automatically resize your images for optimum viewing over the internet anyway so don't be too fussed if you do not know how to reduce your image file size.
Why can’t I see my images when I upload?
This could be due to a number of reasons, the most common
being that your images are NOT the correct file type.
TIP: Try saving your images with extensions .jpg or
.gif. These two file types have the most efficient file
compression ratio and are guaranteed to work with our
upload method.
When I upload my image it says “bad
image”. What does that mean?
This normally means your image does NOT conform to our
upload standards.
To get around this problem, just make sure the image
you are uploading is one of the following types - .jpg
or .gif. Your file should also be no greater than 700 KB
in size.
I had difficulty uploading images to my ad, did not
work. Why not?
This normally means your images again, do NOT conform
to our upload standards.
Please ensure when uploading images that they are no
larger than 700 KB and that the filenames do not contain
spaces or unusual characters such as "&%+#$%".
Please be patient when uploading your images as the speed of your internet connection will determine the time that it takes to upload each of your images. You will see a photo upload status bar pop-up when your images are being uploaded. This will display the percentage complete for each image.
I have sold my RV. How do I cancel my ad?
To remove your advertisement, simply login within the
members section using the email address and password
you used to place your ad and click on "Delete AD". If you are still
unsure contact us and we can do this for you.
How long does it take for my listing to be
approved?
Usually all advertisements are approved within 24 hours.
In most cases ads are approved within a few hours.
